Obermeyer welcomes the visit of Bavarian delegation

More than 50 entrepreneurs and business leaders from the German Free State of Bavaria visited Shanghai and other Chinese cities during a six-day trip focusing on Smart Cities and Smart Mobility.

On the morning of November 4, Christopher Knabe and Sebastian Schulz from OBERMEYER China provided an introduction to the delegates about the urban history and smart city development of Shanghai, linked with a trip to the 632m tall Shanghai Tower, which is one of the most sustainable and foremost super-high-rise smart buildings in the world.

The delegation was initiated and led by the Bavarian Minister of Economic Affairs Hubert Aiwanger. The visit focuses on the expansion of Bavarian-Chinese economic relations, as China is Bavaria's most important trading partner.

Bavarian experts have a great market opportunity with their competence in environmentally friendly and sustainable construction in China.

The program of the delegation includes visits to the Chinese branches of Siemens, BMW and Audi as well as the opening of the BAU China trade fair, which is organized by Messe München.
