On April 3rd, 2018, OBERMEYER was invited at the Annual Excellent Contractors Construction Projects and Individual Commendation Conference 2017, hosted by Changsha Urban Investment Group, and was awarded the prize of “2017 Excellent Design Unit”. Mr. Jürgen Kunzemann, Design Director of OBERMEYER China, attended the conference and received the award while giving his acceptance speech on behalf of the company.

The commendation conference aims to encourage advanced construction units and individuals who have made positive contributions to the construction of Changsha to continuously play an exemplary role in the future work. At the same time, it is urged that all participating units and individuals should learn from the advanced companies, seek truth and be practical, strive for the best, and make greater contributions to the project construction of the group.

The corporation between OBERMEYER and Changsha Urban Investment Group started from Malanshan Vision Park. OBERMEYER participated in the international competition of the project in mid 2017, and finally became the winning company for the deepening design stage. Now the project has come to an end smoothly and entered the integration work of urban design and detailed design stage of the core area, which has been approved by the city leaders and experts.

During our cooperation, we deeply felt the rigorous and pragmatic working spirit of Changsha Urban Investment Group. In addition, their respect of our design ideas has enabled the consistency of the original concept throughout the deepening process of the project. We wish that the year of 2017 and Malanshan Vision Park will be a good start. We hope that we can strengthen our cooperation in the future and create more excellent projects together.
