Today, Hengzhou jasmine not only dominates the domestic market but is also exported overseas, with its output accounting for over 80% of the national total and over 60% of the global total. This industry has lifted 340,000 local flower farmers out of poverty and into prosperity, with a comprehensive annual output value exceeding 20 billion RMB. Thanks to these remarkable achievements, Hengzhou is acclaimed as the "Hometown of Jasmine in China" and the "Jasmine Capital of the World."

In July 2023, Nongfu Spring Group, a leading beverage company, entered Hengzhou, infusing new vitality into the local jasmine industry. The arrival of Nongfu Spring not only created a substantial and stable demand for jasmine flowers but also opened up broad prospects for the industry's development. 

Following the successful completion and commissioning of the Huangshan Beverage Production Base for Nongfu Spring [Link] , OBERMEYER provides its expertise in the fields of beverage and supports Nongfu Spring's strategic steps for its Hengzhou Jasmine Tea Production Base. Currently, the project is under orderly construction, and the main building structure has been successfully topped.

With a planned site area of approximately 90 acres and a total construction area of 132,000 square meters, the Nongfu Spring Hengzhou Jasmine Tea Production Base aims to create a state-of-the-art industrial complex that lifts jasmine tea raw material production and processing onto a high level of food-processing and local integration. The project includes a comprehensive office building, production plants, logistics warehouses, a visitor reception center, and other supporting facilities. Upon completion, the base will serve as a leading modern jasmine tea production demonstration facility in China.
